Designed for professionals who work on metal roofs, the Navail™ MagSteel™ Boot combines powerful magnetic traction, rugged protection, and all-day comfort to help maintain secure footing on steep and challenging steel surfaces.

Each boot incorporates nine high-strength rare-earth magnets embedded within a highly abrasion-resistant rubber outsole, generating a combined magnetic pulling force of approximately 70 kg (700 N) per boot. The durable outsole provides reliable traction on ferromagnetic steel roofing, while our proprietary sole technology enhances cut resistance, puncture resistance, and overall structural integrity to withstand demanding jobsite conditions.

Built for maximum protection, the MagSteel™ Boot features a steel safety toe rated for 200 J impact and 15 kN compression, along with a puncture-resistant midsole designed to help protect against nails and other sharp hazards underfoot.

The premium nubuck leather upper is paired with a breathable mesh lining and a suede tongue for lasting comfort throughout the workday. An elevated heel featuring our SoftSlope™ geometry helps compensate for roof pitch, promoting a more natural and stable stance while working on sloped steel roofs.

While engineered specifically for steel roofing, the MagSteel™ Boot also provides excellent traction on common jobsite surfaces such as plywood, wood decking, and roof sheathing.

Each pair includes a cleaning magnet for quick removal of metallic debris that may accumulate on the outsole.

MagSteel™ Boot

I am a solar installer and we did a job on a 7/12 R-panel roof. These shoes were great for walking on the roof. I could walk straight up to the ridge from the eves without slipping. Even though the shoes are heavy they don't feel heavy walking in them. And I was surprised that my natural walking was enough to lift my foot off of the metal roof without any extra effort. However, I could plant my foot on the metal and I held firm. The shoes worked really well, but I slipped on the pollen covered portion of the roof. And the soft rubber bottom would chunk off from the fastners on the roof.
